Celazole® PBI (polybenzimidazole) is a unique and highly stable linear heterocyclic polymer. An engineering thermoplastics most noted for its exceptionally high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 427C; widely recognized for its high strength, high modulus, and solubility in few solvents. It does not burn. With temperature, pressure, and time it can be molded for use in high performance applications. It can be compounded with other polymers, or cast into a coating, film or membrane. Its unique structure provides properties unlike other engineering resins.
